THe Prairie West email server appears to be down-I have no idea whether it is permanent or temporary, but suspect it is permanent. Les doesn't seem to have had any luck configuring an email server for us, so the proposal I made at the last Exec Mtg seems to be the cheapest solution: I create a listserv on one of the websites I administer:
it would look like this:
sace@djharrison.ca
If that is ok with the majority over the next week, I will go ahead and set it up.
The other solution would be to move the website over to a commercial provider (I use Blacksun in Saskatoon) and end up with a list with our own domain-this costs money. My solution is free.

I would be fine with you setting up from your end, Dave. At this point, the less we have to spend as a group, the better. Talk to you (all) soon!

The Prairie West Server is back up and running. However who knows for how long? Also, over the past year it has been very tempermental- it went down for a few days just before the conference, for example. I have used Blacksun for a year and a half now and have had no outages.
